A Buyers Guide for Accessories and Gifts
Dress / fashion rings
Whilst most of the rings we sell are used as wedding rings, many people buy them as gifts or as fun rings to be worn themselves. The main things to consider when choosing a dress ring are the following:
Size – which finger will the ring be worn on? The size needed is likely to be different than for your wedding/engagement finger.
Design – for a dress ring, this is the most important factor! We feel that some rings are particularly suited for this purpose, namely our designer slice rings, moving block rings, Celtic rings and tungsten carbide rings.
Metal – just as for a wedding ring, you need to consider how much the ring will be worn and what kind of metal will best withstand every day wear and tear. Tungsten carbide rings in particular are popular as gifts for men.
Pendants/earrings
Diamond pendants and earrings are a very popular choice as gifts for bridesmaids; and as Christmas and Valentines Day presents.
Most designs can be made with platinum, 18ct white gold or palladium settings; and with a choice of diamonds.
Eternity rings
Eternity rings are traditionally given as an anniversary gift or to celebrate the birth of a child. We have many different designs, incorporating different types of stones, settings and metals. More advice can be found in the page of our buyer's guide on diamond-set rings.
Cufflinks
We sell a variety of cufflink designs to suit the groom and his wedding party. Choosing cufflinks is really straightforward – just click on your preferred design to see a price. These are also very popular around Christmas and as anniversary gifts.
