The Buyer's Guide to Wedding Rings Part Eight
Matching Pairs
Do we need to have a matching pair of rings?
Having a matching pair of wedding rings is very important to some people and not a concern for others. Like everything else, it's just a matter of taste.
How to create a matching pair - colour
Most people just want to have wedding rings of the same colour and finish, so you'll need to consider the metals carefully. For example, many men are happy to wear a titanium ring for resilience and price, but this is unlikely to be a good colour match for the platinum or palladium ring worn by his new wife. Different alloys (carats) of gold will look different, so this will need to be considered.
How to create a matching pair - design
It's really up to you to decide whether two rings make a matching pair. As a starting point, we've put together a vast selection of matching ring sets . Many of these are decorative designs where the lady's ring has diamonds added. We also have a facility to match a pair of plain rings.
