DIY – How to make personalised wedding hangers ♥

WRD icon

Personalised hangers have become a must on every bride’s wedding day. There are plenty to buy from Etsy but they are pretty simple to make yourself and will make a nice present for your maid of honour, bridesmaids etc.

You will need:

  • Hangers
  • Ribbon bows (instructions on how to make further down)
  • Glue gun
  • Pencil
  • Silver paint marker
  • Computer and printer for font

Print desired font.

Shade the letter you need with pencil.

Turn around and pencil the outlines of your letter on to the hanger.

Keep going until you’ve got a sketch of the full name.

Fill in with silver marker, and add person’s role at the wedding plus date.

Now it’s time to add the bow using a glue gun.

And here’s the end result!! Make a hanger for each and everyone of your bridal team as a little gift.

I used the instructions below to make the ribbon bows but opted for single bows instead of doubles. You will need ribbon in your choice of colour plus a glue gun; and a bit of patience 🙂
