International orders are sent out fully insured via courier. This is a fee based service, which you can find out more about here
Sample and ring gauge orders (UK only) are dispatched using Royal Mail second class post.
OUR DELIVERY SERVICES
FREE ROYAL MAIL INSURED DELIVERY SERVICE
All UK orders (excluding samples) are sent out using Royal Mail Special Delivery, guaranteed by 1pm the next working day. This is a fully insured service. This postage method is complimentary with your order.
A dispatch notification will be sent out via email when your package leaves our workshop. For security purposes rings are sent in a plain package without reference to the type of items being sent and without reference to our company name . Every package contains a leaflet which contains all information on returns, resizing, and exchanges. Every ring is sent out in a good quality box. Please note, your invoice will be sent via email in order to avoid unnecessary cost to the environment.
Saturday delivery is not guaranteed, but it is 95% successful. If there is nobody available to receive a parcel, Royal Mail will leave a card through your door so that you can collect the package from your local Royal Mail depot or re-arrange delivery.
All of our items are made to order, and so have unique lead times. You can find the estimated delivery date for every ring listed on the product page.
Our Express Manufacture Service
If you require your wedding rings urgently, we have an express manufacture option available for most styles. Please note that when selecting this service you are paying for the items to be made quicker, not for a faster courier/delivery service. Some rings are not possible to manufacture within express timeframes. If you cannot see an express option on the ring you are interested in, please contact our customer service team for advice.
2 day express (£48) - most plain rings
If the order is made before 11am on day one, we can deliver before 1pm on day three (working days).
4 day express (£24) - most plain rings
If the order is made before 11am on day one, your item will be with you by 1pm on day five. (working days).
5 day express (£24) - zirconium/black zirconium and some titanium
If the order is made before 11am on day one, your item will be with you by 1pm on day six (working days).
6 day express (£54) - some diamond-set and decorative rings
If the order is made before 11am on day one, your item will be with you by 1pm on day seven (working days).
Disclaimer
When you pay for our express service, you pay to have your items prioritised by our workshops. The delivery time-scales are still estimates, so you may receive your rings a day earlier or later than expected. Each item is made to order and must go through a complex and delicate manufacturing process and rings must pass through independent bodies such as the Assay Office before they can be dispatched to you. Please let us know if you are ordering your rings within a few days of your wedding so we can do our best to get the rings to you on time!
We can not be held responsible for failure to deliver goods by your wedding date, however we will do everything we can to meet your estimated delivery date and update you should there be any changes to it. If we are aware that we will not deliver your rings by the date of your wedding we will send you sterling silver replicas of your rings to use for the ceremony.
Please be aware that deliveries to non-UK addresses may take longer. Once an item has been dispatched it is now in the care of Royal Mail or the chosen courier. We cannot be held responsible for postal errors such as the postman failing to ring your doorbell or leaving your parcel with a neighbour. However, we will do everything within our power to follow up on missing items with Royal Mail and will do our best to retrieve them for you. Wedding Rings Direct are not responsible for items delivered to incorrect addresses if the incorrect address was entered by the customer at checkout.
International Orders
Deliveries outside of the UK are sent out using DHL Express Worldwide service. Delivery fees may apply to international orders.
Be prepared to pay customs or import duties on your items when they arrive in your country. These will vary depending on the laws in your country.
